Seaway Winds Concert Band pays tribute to the traditional "Last Night of the Proms", a special concert, held every year at the end of the summer promenade concerts in London, England.
Seaway Winds will play typical "Proms" compositions, such as British Sea Songs, Nimrod, and a Royal March.
Guest vocalist, Garth Hampson, who is the former RCMP Band vocalist from Ottawa, will sing popular favorites, such as Selections from Gilbert and Sullivan, Lord of the Dance and Ash Grove, as well as lead the audience in the traditional "Proms" highlights: Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, and, of course, God Save the Queen.
Bring and wave your Union Jacks and enjoy this one-of-a -kind concert.
