Ontario Trillium Foundation Funding
Over the past few years the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) has been a significant contributor to Aultsville Theatre's revitalization program.
In 2011 Aultsville Theatre received a $72,200 grant over two years to hire a Communications/Development Coordinator who will help to build the organization's capacity particularly in the areas of fundraising, marketing, and communications.
In 2009 Aultsville Theatre received a $60,000 grant toward refurbishment of the theater's theatrical lighting system. This grant, combined with additional funds raised by the Aultsville Theatre Management Committee, enabled the completion of the first phase of the lighting project.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has supported earlier revitalization projects at Aultsville Theatre as well.
Aultsville Theatre is a community theatre that is operated as a non-profit organization in partnership with the City of Cornwall and St. Lawrence College.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation is an agency of the Government of Ontario. For over 25 years, the Foundation has supported the growth and vitality of communities across the province. It continues to strengthen the capacity of the volunteer sector through investments in community-based initiatives.
